The Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Center of Excellence will host the annual Advance Planning Briefing for Industry (APBI)/Small Business (SB) Conference in the brand new Mission Training Facility at APG on December 1-2, 2010.

The purpose of the APBI is to provide industry with a comprehensive overview of Army C4ISR Center of Excellence requirements and corresponding contract opportunities that will be available within the next few years. The APBI informs the commercial marketplace of potential opportunities for business with the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) and its C4ISR partners at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

The program consists of a series of presentations by government representatives outlining intended acquisitions during the coming year and plans for future, near-term acquisitions. The APBI allows companies to gather information in a public environment so they can assess their corporate interests in specific business opportunities with the government.

The Small Business Conference brings together small business leaders and key CECOM decision makers. It provides a forum for direct exchange of information and ideas among senior officials and small business leaders and will facilitate small businesses getting their fair share of CECOM contracts and ensure that the command maintains a viable small business program.
