The Youth HIRED! Apprentice Program is an APG FMWR program available through CYS Services that offers 15 - 18 year-old students, whose families work on APG as military, civilians or contractors, the opportunity to gain real-world career experience and get paid a stipend while working in a variety of positions at FMWR activities.

The HIRED! Apprenticeship Program provides 15-18 year-old youth with meaningful, professionally-managed career-exploration opportunities in Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) operations.
The HIRED! Apprenticeship Program offers valuable paid work experience and training to better equip each participant with the skills needed for a highly-competitive job market.

Eligibility
HIRED apprentice candidates must be eligible for CYS Services programs. They must also be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, or lawful permanent resident aliens of the United States and provide proof of successful completion of:
three (3) workforce preparation training sessions
two (2) post secondary education exploration training sessions
one (1) financial management workshop
school documentation showing a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher
