PICNIC AREAS & SWIMMING POOLS
Picnic areas
Picnic areas are operated on a reservation basis for off-Post organizations, all weekend and holiday users. Installation organizations using any picnic area during Mon-Fri is free. All picnic areas are open from dawn to dusk to include set-up, clean-up times. On Post activities may register in January and all others will begin registration in February.
  • Maryland Blvd. (Aberdeen area) fee is $250.00.
  • Park Street (Aberdeen Area) & Skipper's Point (Edgewood Area) fee is $35.
  • Woodpecker Point Picnic Areas (Aberdeen Area) is $50.

    Swimming pool monthly and season passes
    The Olympic Pool is located on the Aberdeen part of APG and Bayside Pool is located on the Edgewood part of APG. The monthly and season passes go on sale each May, and daily swimmers pay $3 at all pools for authorized patrons and $5 for their guests.

    Active Duty may reserve equipment 45 days in advance of required date. All other eligible patrons may reserve equipment 30 days in advance of required date.

    · AA & EA RV Storage Lots
    Active Duty Military fee is $12 per month up to 20 ft. and $.60 per foot over 20 feet; Other installation personnel is $15 per month up to 20 ft. and $.75 per foot over 20 feet. 24-hour access.
    · AA & EA Vehicle Sale Lots
    Active Duty Military fee is $5 per month; Other installation personnel is $10 per month. 24 hour access.
    · Registration for Recreational Classes
    · Hunting & Fishing Permits
    · MWR Boat Launch Ramps
    Security/Accountability Administrative fee is $5, good Jan-Dec; dawn to dusk access.
    · APG Riding Activity
    Self-care facility, box stalls provided for privately owned horses.
    · Chesapeake Challenge Amusement Park

    · Skipper's Point Travel Camp
    There are 6 RV and 9 tent primitive camp sites. Permits are required ($3.50 tent & $5 RV sites). Scout group's fee is $15 for tent sites.

    RESERVATION POLICY
    -Reservation for equipment will require an advance payment of the daily fee to hold an item. All fees mst be paid prior to taking possession of your requested equipment.
    - Rental period is based on time of possession and not how long the equipment was actually used by a patron.
    - Active Duty and retired military may reserve equipment 45 days in advance of required date. All other eligible patrons may reserve equipment 30 days in advance or required date.
    - There is a Patron's Agreement that will detail your responsibilities, late fees, return policy and refunds. Customers are advised to carefully read and sign the Rental Agreement.
    - There are Maryland State restrictions on watercraft operators. Please call us for details.
    - Propane and gas are the responsibility of the patron and is not included in the daily fee.

    RENTALS
    - A daily fee is from the time you expect possession, not to exceed 24 hours.
    - Ask us about a discount for multi-day rentals.
    - The cost for a weekend (Fri - Mon) rental is the two-day fee for that item.
