Chesapeake Challenge Amusement Park (CCAP) will not open this summer season as earlier promoted due to maintenance issues and effects of severe weather over the last 6 months.  The go cart track, mini golf, and batting cage maintenance will be assessed over the summer and it will be determined if it is cost effective to open the area in 2012.  But for this summer, the facility will not be open.

  • Patrons must be 10 years of age and 54" tall (4'6") to drive go-karts solo (must meet both requirements; cannot drive if only fulfilling one requirement)
  • Those patrons who are unable to drive go-karts solo can ride as a passenger with another individual who is 16 years and older.
  • Patrons must be 7 years of age to use batting cages.
