ARMED FORCES RECREATION CENTERS
AFRC resorts are affordable Joint Service facilities operated by the U.S. Army Community and Family Support Center and located at ideal vacation destinations. The AFRCs are centrally managed, U.S. Army Community and Family Support Center-operated facilities with a mission to provide rest, relaxation, recreation, and sustainment for Army personnel, their families, and other members of the total Defense Force. Authorized users include active-duty military, retirees, currently employed and retired Department of Defense civilians, reservists, delayed entry recruits, and family members. Reservations are required; these facilities are often full.

Facilities include: Shades of Green on Walt Disney World Resort, Florida; Edelweiss Lodge and Resort, Germany; and Dragon Hill Lodge, Korea.

Other Travel Options and Destinations: Seward Resort in Alaska .

Joint Services Recreation Centers: Kilauea Mountain Cottages; and Bellows Air Force Station.

Other DOD Lodging: Navy Lodge; and Air Force Inns.

Military Camping and RV Sites
The Army and other DOD Service Departments operate camp grounds and RV sites throughout the U.S. on military installations and recreation areas. The Army provides these to promote recreational travel and provide outdoor recreational opportunities to authorized users. We offer various levels of amenities from gravel pads to paved pads with water, electric, sewage disposal, cable TV and telephone access. We also offer professional staffs or hosts to take care of your needs. Many RV parks and camp grounds offer programs to help you take advantage other installation MWR activities and local area attractions.
