DMWR Annual Commercial sponsorship opportunities

Army Family Action Plan Symposium (AFAP) Date: March/ April Participation: 150-200 from the APG community Sponsorship Opportunities: Funding to cover the cost of food and beverages for the symposium. The event is important because it offers each community member the opportunity to enhance the quality of life where we live and work. Each year, concerned family members from the community volunteer their time to raise and address community issues at this annual symposium. The Army Family Action Plan Symposium is open to active duty and retired military personnel, their family members and DOD civilian personnel. Volunteer Recognition Ceremony Date: April/May Participation: 150-200 from the APG community Sponsorship Opportunities: Funding to cover the cost of food and beverages for the ceremony. This ceremony recognizes the contributions of volunteers that have improved and sustained our community. Our volunteer force is made up of many individuals from active duty and retired military members, Department of Defense civilian employees and many family members of military personnel. Typically, the Garrison Commander will speak at the event to thank volunteers for the all of the generous contributions they have made to the community overall through the year. Soldier/Military Appreciation Day Date: June/July Participation: 150-200 from the APG community Sponsorship Opportunities: Funding to cover the cost of food, beverages and entertainment for the special event.

As an integral part of United States Army life, MWR provides soldiers and their family members with many fitness, entertainment and family support outlets.

Morale, Welfare and Recreation exists to enhance the quality of life, contribute and maintain the morale of the Army community, enrich living and working enviroments, and foster a sense of community for soldiers, family members and civilians. The development and growth of the military community's well-being is in great part due to support from quality MWR programs. Striving to improve the quality of life is our mission, and customer service is a top priority.

Sponsorship seeks to partner local businesses with MWR programs to provide services or events which will enhance the soldier experience while providing a benefit to the community. It allows your advertising/marketing dollars to go twice as far.

As a sponsor, you can support an individual event, an entire yearly program, or simply provide giveaways for attendees. You may provide full underwriting or partial financial support for one or for a group of MWR Programs. Sponsorship through products and services for door prizes and giveaways are always welcome, depending on the value.
