Join us as we learn what its like to be the victim of domestic violence. Experience making difficult decisions, dealing with law enforcement, shelter services and why leaving isn't always easy. This training will increase awareness of the struggles that domestic violence survivors face and illustrate domestic violence as a community tragedy and not a private problem.

This is an interactive orientation to welcome and inform newly arrived Soldiers, Family Members and Civilian Employees of the many support resources available on APG and surrounding communities. Soldiers and Families can "Take Care of Business" and visit specialists from Housing on and off post, Tricare and Medical, Childcare and School Liaisons. Many Family support programs will be available on-site to include: Army Community Service, Chaplains, Community Chambers of Commerce, Education Center, and others that are here to support Soldiers and their Families assigned to APG.

Come at 1 p.m. to explore information tables from local agencies and make important contacts within your community! APG Garrison briefing begins at 1:25 p.m. (agencies will be available after the brief as well).
